Kelly Osbourne has become the latest celebrity to use her Twitter account as anger management therapy. Osbourne, 26, sent a series of tweets on Christmas Day -- yes, Christmas Day -- accusing her ex-fiance Luke Worrall, 21, of lying to her and using her for money. The performer and reality star erased the most defamatory tweets just a few hours later -- but here's what she originally wrote:
wow just found something out that has hurt my feelings so bad :( and christmas was going so well...
Luke Worrall is the biggest piece of s***. He has been trying to get back with me. I only came home for Christmas to see him, meanwhile he has been f***ing hundreds of girls, as well as men, behind my back.
He used me for my money and a free ride. He is lucky I am not spilling the whole truth about what he did. He is the worst thing that ever happened to me...I am and always will be too good for him...Darling your pretty face will only get you so far because you don't have the brains to back it up
Yes, but how do you really feel, Kelly? Osbourne and 20-year-old model Worrall dated for six months before their engagement in November 2008. They broke it off in July 2010, with Kelly accusing Luke of cheating and calling him names on Facebook. In response to his ex-girlfriend's Christmas tirade, Worrall tweeted just four words: lies on twitter awesome. A few hours later, presumably in response to his followers' questions, he added, i'm not going to spill personal business over twitter im not that low!
We're always amazed when celebrities spill their personal affairs on Twitter. Why hire all those managers and agents and publicists if you're just going to go nuts on the most public forum in the universe? We thought Kelly Osbourne was smarter than that. And actually, she proved that she is. Not only did she erase the tweets that contained accusations against Luke Worrall, she also stepped away from her Blackberry.
I think the best part of this situation is that I have been painted out 2 be the crazy 1 when all I did was tell the honest to gods truth, Osbourne lamented the day after Christmas. Thank god for my family that's all I have to say. Don't think I have ever felt so stupid... going to be off Twitter for a while.
We hope for Kelly's sake that she learned her lesson about oversharing on Twitter -- it may seem like a good idea at the time, but in the end, it only makes people lump you in with fellow over-Tweeters Courtney Love and Lindsay Lohan. Yikes!
